I have spent much of the last 2-3 years saving up money and buying and reading this series, and now that I have finally concluded it (atleast jurdan's story), I'm feeling all the emotions of being enamoured, dazzled, entranced and all other magnificent feelings at Holly Black's wondrous storytelling, world-building, characters and her excellent way of being able to redeem even the most awful characters in their own twisted, sick ways. But now that I have ended reading this I'm also feeling the emotions of loneliness, sadness & slight remorse & despair at not being able to continue following Jude and Cardan on their journey (atleast not wholly), I'm feeling upset at the realization that these wondrous creatures don't actually exist in real life and all of their magic has only thrived and lived on in my head. I feel extremely glad for picking "The Cruel Prince" up all those years back thinking the cover and name to be pretty. It was certainly one of the best decisions I've ever made. Thank you to Holly Black for illuminating my time with this wonderful work. It was truly a pleasure to follow Jude and Cardan and everyone else in this story in their own stories. Thank you for this experience.
