This could be good or bad depending on your take on Star Wars, but The Screaming Citadel just further points out how interesting non-OT characters can be. Sana, Aphra, BT & 0-0-0, even Black Krrsantan are all really entertaining.
There isn''t really a lot to The Screaming Citadel. It's almost a straight up pulp story. But it's the moments with characters besides Han, Luke and Leia that keep the book engaging.
