I really liked how we picked up right from where the first book left off. I really enjoyed seeing Holly's music and career take centre stage in this book and loved how we got to see her in her element.

Creighton was great in this book and had some really good character development moments supporting Holly but also learning what he wants and what she wants can be different and to step back when needed (though sometimes that didn't happen).
I found Holly frustrating and stubborn throughout the book. She just didn't want to meet Creighton on certain things, even after he has made the effort to show that he cares, but by the end of the book it almost feels justified as we end up right where we were at the beginning. This book has great moments but for the plot going forward it was pointless as we don't really go anywhere. Creighton's development was still good though.
