Chas's Fervor by Chiah Wilder

4.0

Mwa-ha, I think I'm becoming a fan of Chiah Wilder.

Chas is a bad boy biker with a decisively good side. While he may be pushy and a bit arrogant he is also amazingly sweet and has strong connections with his parents and his 8 year old son Jack. After divorcing his wife Chas has decided that Marriage is not for him and he's happy being on his own.

Addie, formally Lizzie Quinn, is happy being on her own with out a man. Especially after the last man in her life, her husband, turned out to nothing but a facade. On the run she has changed her name and created a new life for herself in Colorado and all is going well until she meet's Chas.

Gradually Addie begins to loosen up and let herself enjoy her time with Chas. The dark cloud that is her husband however still lingers in the back of her mind and when he finally catches up to her all that she has worked for and that is her future is put on the line.

I loved how the HEA for this book rests in one action. Had Chas not done one thing after Addie broke his heart and left him then he would have spent the rest of his days hating women (Addie especially) and Addie would have either died at the hands of her husband or spent the rest of her life as his prisoner.

Highlight of this book other than Chas and Addie's romance was definitely Chas's son Jack. Seriously one of the cutest kids EVER.

4.5 stars for this book. Looking forward to whatever comes next!
