This is better than the last but still rather confusing. You're supposed to pick up on certain things that the font is doing to figure out whether what's being said is past or present, but I still find myself having to read things a couple of times to figure it out. "Fantasy" is a little easier to make out but not always. The MC is more redeeming here as well. There's less emphasis on her wanting to be some ridiculous popularity-contest-winner (a.k.a. finding a rich husband) and more on her relationship with Yano.

I'm starting to get curious as to why this is LGBTQ+ though. Frankly, with one exception, everyone is just friendly or sisterly. There's nothing particularly romantic about most of the interactions... I suppose you could read into things but I'm not convinced. It's still a good story, just a little misleading (and yes, I understand that the genre "shoujo-ai" is not always romantic).
