Letters from Father Christmas by J.R.R. Tolkien

2.0

DNF at 40%. (Shhh, book club besties, I didn’t say anything because you all loved it and I didn’t want to be a Scrooge.) The best part of this collection of letters is how wholesome it is that a dad would write letters as Santa & his helpers to his kids for DECADES. But the stories weren’t for me. Santa blamed almost everything that went wrong on his helpers, especially on the Polar Bear. I understand this was done for comedy but that attitude frustrates me.
