3.5 stars-a quick and positive jaunt
This graphic novel was such a breath of fresh air. I felt myself growing so connected to Nick and Charlie and every subtle sign they gave each other.
There was really only one solid negative for me in this book and it was just that the art style took some getting used to and I had a bit of a hard time following it the first time.
I loved every character and I saw so much of myself and my queer friends in this story. A story that we didn't get to read when we were in high-school. I'm just so happy this exists. I was also grateful to see a depiction of abuse in a same sex relationship and being able to see Charlie heal from that.
