A Month in Siena by Hisham Matar

I loved this book so much! It's short but Matar's writing is absolutely beautiful. I enjoyed being let inside his head and hearing his thoughts, which he articulated so well. I liked his discussion of art, life, love, people and places. I feel like this is one that will stick with me and that I'll think of often. The physical book itself was also gorgeous. The pages are thick and the photos are printed in colour. I would love to read Matar's other work in the future.
