This was pretty good. In the first 50 pages or so, I wasn’t feeling it much, and I found it a bit generic and corny at times. Then it began sort of going up and down in quality for me until about the middle of the book where it really found its stride. The writing just started improving and I found Casey to be a more intriguing character.
In the last few chapters, once she gets hired, I started feeling really good inside. The hope she felt made me feel good, and I liked the crescendo of emotions up until the drop back down into the calm ending. Overall, I enjoyed this.
