Choosing You by Bree Kraemer

Choosing You is the third book in the Cedarville series by Bree Kraemer and could be read as a standalone which I how I read it. However because I loved this one so much I will definitely be going back and reading books 1 and 2. This was also my first read of anything by this author and I really enjoyed her writing style. There was romance, comedy and some very steamy moments between Carly and Anthony. The story was written so well, it just flowed easily and was a great read. I also liked that the story was told from both characters POV.
Right from the start I was completely hooked into these characters lives; there was just something about them that made me instantly like them. I loved the easy friendship between Carly, Mel and Leah. They provided a few laugh out loud moments for me and I could tell just how close they were as friends.
Carly was a great character. She took a while for me to get to know her, I couldn’t understand why she was so against her feelings for Anthony but as the story progressed I learnt a lot about her and what had happened to her in a previous relationship. I have to admit the voicemails she left her friend and Anthony after her drunken night out were hilarious! This is one of those book moments that you could envisage in a film!
Anthony was just the epitome of a book boyfriend! Sexy, kind, considerate and the things he said to Carly were so HOT!! I loved the texts that he sent her!
Carly and Anthony were supported by some great secondary characters some of who I know have already had their story but I really liked getting to know them. I liked Anthony sister Addison and hope there may be a story about her and Ryan in the future.
There were some unexpected and emotional twists in this story that I really didn’t expect but they only made Carly and Anthony’s more interesting to read. I really enjoyed this story and the authors beautiful writing style. I can’t wait to read her previous books in the series and anymore that may come after.
