Shifters in the Night by Molly Harper

3.0

3-3.5☆ (Light, Fun Read/Listen)
Noticed 3 books out in the series that I haven't read yet, so I'm excited to read them.

Molly Harper & Amanda Ronconi --- always great/fun. I encourage anyone looking for a light fun paranormal romantic comedy to check out either this Mystic Bayou series... or her Nice Girls series...or Half-Moon Hollow's series... or Naked Werewolf series, etc...

They are ALL filled with some interesting/ quirky characters. Her writing is formulaic- hence the 3/3.5 rating. Admittedly, the formula of comedic oddball characters &/or outsiders becoming friends/family--- finding love & a sense of belonging works.

I always like/enjoy Molly Harper, but can see others (PR fans)loving her. ( I'm more into Urban Fantasy than Paranormal Romance.)

******* Update: Just listened to One Fine Fae - short story 4.5 that should have preceded this one. Not that it matters in the scheme of things, just that it served to remind me how much I do really like this series as a whole. I planned on finishing a different book first, but now I may have to give this series finale a listen. I don't like to read book blurbs for books in series as I'm already invested in them & like to be surprised; however, I did look up book order and saw that book six is the last one in the Mystic Bayou series.

Because there is a definite formula to these books, I already know the characters who will be falling in love without reading any book blurbs. I am DOWN FOR IT--- FINALLY!!!
