I read this book in one evening. It was so brilliant that I literally could not put it down. I cannot believe that I did not know about the author before this.
Ben is a single father with two boys. After the death of his wife, his mother starts caring and looking after the family. Ben meets a woman named Amber and his mother, Judi, feels threatened. What happens next is unbelievable. It kept me hooked from the first page. It is amazing what happens and how it all comes together in the end.
It is a clever book. Really and truly. It was one of the best books I have read in a while. Superb book. Will definitely be reading the author's other books.
