The Right Wrong Number by Katie Warren

3.0

Julian is still in anguish after his husband’s untimely death when he texts his phone number to get closure. Liam receives the text and begins this fun, spicy romance novel. Both main characters are complex, and I found myself rooting for them. They both had significant character growth throughout the book.

I loved the LGBTQ+ focus of this novel, and all the spicy scenes were consensual and fun. I don’t read much romance, but this felt like the perfect summery book! There is also a feline side character that makes some great appearances. The novel was a bit repetitive but there are tons of fun dad jokes to make up for it. And a few of the scenes definitely had me blushing on the bus… you’ve been warned!
