This series is fast-paced but heavy!
This last book of the series had a lot more dialogue than the second and third books. What really stuck with me after reading this novel was a Metis classmate saying

"We've already survived the apocalypse. This is us living in a post-apocalyptic world."

 
Never considered that before with diaspora stories, and it really gave me something to reflect on.
