this book was a lot to take in. I ranged from 4 to 2 stars. but gave 4 because tho the reasons I didn't care for the story...it's a well written book.
it's not a love story to me...there is love in the book...good love...bad love...unrequited love. there's more hate...disagreement...and selfishness tho
heathcliffe was a monster...he just was. Catherine 1...was selfish and weak...or maybe had a mental disorder?...she broke down fast :/.... Catherine 2 irked me but I had to keep in mind her age...Edgar was a fine man just dumb. He loved a woman who didn't love him....Hindley I felt the most for. he was an ass of course but got more than his due back.....Katherine she loved a bad man and bared a hard life for it.... hareton was abused and raised ignorant but in the end it seemed he wanted to better himself
