the start of the book was really slow and kind of difficult to get into but I’m glad I kept reading. as the story unfolds and jumps between indya’s past and her time with west a lot of plot holes in the beginning make a lot more sense and towards the end I was sobbing. what indya did for west was incredibly thoughtful and she really upended her whole life and marriage for a second chance, literally sobbing.
