I will always be a champion of YA books, no matter how old I get. That being said, I do think this book read a little more juvenile than the majority of YA books I read, and for that reason I didn't enjoy it as much as I could have done. It just wasn't written for me and that's okay. I do think it was well-written, the dynamics between characters were interesting and it did a good job of fleshing out and providing origins for the character(s) we already know from the previous duology.
