A new detective for me to try. Interesting concept of him being the inspiration in Bleak House (OK I've never read BH - is this true or just part of the marketing??)
I loved the characters in this and it sets up a longer running series quite well. The crimes themselves aren't too bad either. It's quite a busy book, there's a lot going on so not so great for those who like to have a fairly straight story but overall not a bad book
