I wish so much that this book was in English so everyone could enjoy it. Since it sadly is only in Czech, I will keep this review short and sweet, same as the story.

This YA contemporary LGBTQ+ romance book written by a non-binary genderfluid author is something I have never seen among Czech authors or the Czech book community. And in my opinion, this is very needed in today's world.

It is about two high school boys who try to figure out themselves while also navigating quite unfriendly social life in a boarding school. Nice portraying the feeling of looking for yourself, but there are people against the person you are supposed to be. All that and on top also bullying classmates and parents, who already decided your life for you.

Nowadays, I don't read that much in Czech. That might be why I was so surprised by this gem of a book. Beautifully written, quick read. I highly recommend it if you read in Czech. Great story filled with both good and bad stuff that is happening to many people.

I gave this book a five out of five stars on Goodreads. It was one of the best books of 2021 for me. There are some scenes in it though I recommend checking for trigger warnings.
