The Most Dangerous Game by Richard Connell

5.0

This short story was amazing. I found the plot engaging and suspenseful. The story didn’t have too much detail which built tension. I also liked the fact that it raised some questions on mortality and the hierarchy of the human race.

Some quotes I enjoyed:

“The world is made up of two classes—the hunters and the huntees.”

“God makes some men poets. Some He makes kings, some beggars. Me He made a hunter.”

“Life is for the strong, to be lived by the strong, and, if needs be, taken by the strong. The weak of the world were put here to give the strong pleasure.
