Mysteries of the Mummy Kids by Kelly Milner Halls

emotional informative sad medium-paced

4.75

The book is an excellent read on mummies from across the globe and differs in the sense that it doesn't focus on just one location or culture, but rather, a variety.  The book also treats the topic of the dead and deceased in a respectful manner and identifies the previous wrongs conducted by those exploring these mummies. A (very minor) gripe is that since the book is from 2007/2008, some of the information is outdated (for example, Windeby 'Girl' was found out to actually be a boy instead per recent research).
