Sorrel and Elnoreth were such wonderful, charming characters that I fell for them the moment they were on the page.

It was interesting reading a Gargoyle Romance story, with no spice. There is love, not insta, but it is there, the kindles burning brighter each day.

I would enjoy seeing this story and world expanded on.

It was overall a quick read, a heartfelt and even quite cozy at times Romance.

The way that Elnoreth talks about his loss and grief, over the passing of his Mate, is hard and understandable so. No one wants to see the love of their life pass, especially when they can no nothing to save them.

Beggan, I think, handles this topic well.

If you enjoy fantasy, romance, no spice, then this one I think will be up your alley.

– HEADS UP –
If death during a delivery, even 99% off page is a hard no for you, I would suggest reading this with caution. Or possibly not at all. It is easy to skip this part, you do see it coming, so please mind your mental health there. Sorrel, is a midwife, and is called to her sister's side, during her delivery. Sadly, due to things outside of Sorrel's control, she does not make it in time to save her sister. But she does save the infant.
