I loved how the Novel de-romanticizes having an unplanned baby. I admire the protagonist , her resilience and how much she work hard to talk care of her baby despite unseeming circumstances. I should note the unconventional way the author uses the narrative point of view, switching from a third person to a first person pov with ease. The novel also makes us look inward and how society treats sex workers, often they are treated with disdain and objects, but these are real people that have experienced real situations that has informed their choices. The plot is unique and a solid 5 star.
