Misinformation, politics, bodyguards, death threats, and murder attempts - what could be more intriguing than that?! A Shameless Little Con sucks you in from the very first page and keeps you reading until the very end. I definitely suffered some disappointment once I finished that last page - but I can not wait until I can pick up the sequel!
I really felt a connection to Jane. She adequately shares her story of shame and regret in the aftermath of the events that targeted her friend Lindsay previously. She is still battling the rumors of her involvement and trying to clear her own name. But she has already lost everything. How does she continue to push forward when no one believes her and she has nothing to work towards? I really felt a connection to Jane and wanted things to work out for her!
This was my first Meli Raine book and I will definitely be going back to read her Harmless series as well as reading the rest of this series when it comes out! I am hooked!
