My first Lynn Painter book and I laughed so many times, the banter was top tier. I loved the will they/won’t they pull of Hallie and Jack, even with the typical expected miscommunication at the end (because of course you knew that was coming, though honestly part of me wishes they had been adults who just communicated and worked it out without the miscommunication but that’s a romcom for you). There truly were so many funny moments and the taco cheese part was stupid funny. And did I mention I caught so many Taylor Swift references? I live for that. Lots of good pop culture mentions too. AND SPICE! Like 3/5 on spice, it was good.
