Did I go into this expecting it to be a 5 star read? Truly, no. I am not a paranormal/werewolf/vampire romance person at all, and I felt like I could have been setting myself up to hate a book everyone else I know loves by reading this. But how did Ali Hazelwood get me to become completely obsessed with a story like this that I had to finish it as quickly as possible because I was eating every page up??
Misery and Lowe were so good together, and I loved the side characters too. This was witty and also incredibly sweet at the same time. I feel like it was the perfect introduction to these types of books because it still felt like an Ali Hazelwood book, but the other aspects felt really accessible for someone who doesn’t read that genre.
That ending better have been a set up for a sequel because I want more!
