Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire by J.K. Rowling

adventurous funny inspiring lighthearted mysterious relaxing medium-paced

I love how the series only gets better.  This 'children's book' has a lot of things some adults can learn from: friendship (
how Ron got jealous of Harry and everything became much harder for Harry to handle and when Ron came back everything was better for him)
classism and slavery (House Elves), racism (giants, muggleborn...) Prejudice and being just.
This book falls right into Hufflepuff's House traits— not just because of Cedric Diggory.  Harry showed justice, fair play and bravery.  What had happened to him is immense (
he even got cursed and watched someone get cursed with the cruciatus curse, someone good to him at that
) and into the dangerous tournament, with Rita Skeeter on his back at all times, ruining a lot of things and wreaking havoc.  All that and more, he had the  perseverance to endure all the while he just wanted to spend a normal year to have fun with his friends.    Mrs. Weasley is such a sweet darling.  I adore her; she treats Harry as her own, and that displays how important good mothers/mother figures are for people; to feel safe, and loved and wanted.  The Weasley family and Hermoine are his true family.
