Shadowfever by Karen Marie Moning

5.0

I didn't want it to end!

Moning's fever series is so imaginative. Fantastic writing with mind-bending worlds and themes. Love, hate, indifference and many shades between... this broad cast of characters and creatures inspire a wide spectrum of emotions. The question of what is good or evil, depending on perspective and individual ideals and values, is underscored by all the characters and creatures actions. It's not often books find me liking the baddest dark bad-asses and the dichotomy of Mac being pink and black, feminine and strong made me all kinds of fist-punching happy.

A great mythological world, exciting cast, inventive plot, with a fair bit of existential philosophy thrown in.

Five stars isn't enough. Totally enthralled.
