Spoiler free don't worry, mainly just trying to temper expectations.

I liked it, like I don't regret reading it but as a girly who will happily skip hop and jump over plot holes, this had so many in it that it felt like a net...
I'm a very mind off reader so details don't usually bother me much, but so much focus would be placed on certain details to make you expect for it to be a key point in the case, just to be ignored completely. It made the whole thing feel.... Unfinished. if you are someone who likes to analyze books, look for hidden meanings, gets irritated by small plot holes, or are just used to patterns in books so you're pretty good at guessing general direction and then are thrown when the story takes a random uncharted turn.... Then this probably isn't for you.
If you are someone who this isn't your normal genre and you just want a fast paced read that is interesting enough to keep your attention and otherwise you just numb skull your way through, then this might be a nice read.
For context, I'm usually a high fantasy girly and just honestly needed a break into something reality based and this did it. However people who read actual down to earth content would state you need to suspend your disbelief in this one so take it as you will.
I neither loved or hated the ending, I definitely see better ways it could've gone or been built to but it's fine, feels like a cheap win but is what it is.
