Blood Union Part One by Vela Roth

Did not finish book.

I found this book to throw off the rest of the series. The setup of the previous books was really good, with interesting world-building and character development that had me hooked. However, once I started reading this one I was disappointed. 

Cassia still doesn't become a  Hesperine, which was disappointing after the several books of build up and character development. I really wanted her to just change already before she goes on the next big thing. It feels like the series is just dragging out...

 

I may or may not finish the series.
