As someone who read the first books of the serious I simply enjoy seeing so much of the past MCs.
I liked the friends to lovers even though the tropes were really cliché because of the chemistry they have as friends. (Quite good humor in my opinion)
But I always get a little annoyed if part of the drama is caused by miscommunication.
2/5 spice. Not really that detailed but they're dancing a quite some horizontal tango.
