The Burning Girls by C.J. Tudor

3.0

The Burning Girls is a decent mystery thriller with decent twists. Not something I will call as my favorite.

The beginning of the book is slow with a lot of characters introductions. Listening on audio, I couldn't keep track of these characters. While more number of characters means more number of suspects (making way for a potential shocking plot twist), it somehow backfires just because none of the characters contain enough dept.

Good part is the story which involves interesting enough side plots with their own smaller mysteries which eventually connects to the overall mystery. As about the climax, it is action packed but doesn't evoke any sense of surprise.
