The Danger Box by Blue Balliett

2.0

I'm a huge fan of Balliett's previous titles with their mix of history, mystery, wordplay and intrigue. In this book Balliett departs from her series work and tells the story of Zoomy Chamberlain, a legally blind foundling and his adventures that occur when his father suddenly returns with a box containing a mysterious notebook. The book had some narratives inconsistencies, and while I didn't enjoy them as much as the other Balliett books, was still an entertaining read.
