Go Tell the Bees That I Am Gone by Diana Gabaldon
4.0
A solid 4 stars for the whole book, plus 0.25 stars for the last ~100 pages that got me real excited about it again.
The detail in these books is a double-edged sword, it is both glorious and also makes reading them a little bit of a slog sometimes. (Which is why it took me over a month to read this one, plus the minor detail of too many work hours and a holiday season…)
Am I happy I pushed through and read the whole series (so far)? 100% yes. Am I glad to be moving onto something different for a bit? Also a resounding yes.
And still … Jamie + Claire 4eva ❤️
