Detectives in Togas by Henry Winterfeld

3.0

I am traveling to Rome and Athens in the next month or so and was intrigued by this little book that I came across at the library book store for uber-cheap (2 for $0.25) when they were closing. I thought it would be a fun read and something I could take with me to wild release there. The mystery aspect was pretty decent, with an actual bad guy and an innocent person who won't tell the whole story and clear himself and some mixed motives all around. Definitely a great way for kids to interact with the world of ancient Rome.
