I flew through this book! I just absolutely loved it! As the slightly awkward, slightly nerdy person I am it was so easy to relate to Anna. The summary is absolutely right, I'm a huge fan of the Geek Girl series and when I was a bit younger I loved Louise Rennison's Georgia Nicholson novels and this book did remind me of them in a lot of places, probably more Geek Girl than Georgia Nicholson though.

Anna was an immensely likable character, I loved her so much, and as I said before she's incredibly relateable. Her life gets turned upside down and her reactions are hilarious. Like with all good funny books, there are some heartwarming moments, and for me as a twenty year old this book reminded me a lot of my school life (and gave warm fuzzies), so it's definitely not just a book for kids or young teens.

I'd recommend this to anyone, the writing is easy and it's a quick read, but it's also mature and not too twee, something I hate in books that span both YA and children's fiction.

I gave this book 4 stars on Goodreads.
