The Great Bridge: The Epic Story of the Building of the Brooklyn Bridge by David McCullough

5.0

This was my fourth book by McCullough, and I think I enjoyed it the most. It’s well written and researched, it’s an interesting story, and it is relevant to society, politics, technology, engineering, immigrants, and even women’s early roles in engineering. I also noticed a few subtle connections to The Path Between the Seas with the mention of yellow fever and the French canal engineer (de Seps?). Thanks McCullough for another great work.
