Dune Messiah by Frank Herbert
4.25
This felt more like an interlude, but not in a bad way. It was also quite confusing at times bc Frank Herbert was like "I'll try to be as poetic as possible", what I don't mind tho.
Also, this book reminded me of the ancient tragic plays I had to read for school. Especially bc of the dialogue, I think.
I also have to mention the incest stuff because it made me uncomfortable. Especially the scene in which Alia was naked and training and then Paul kinda checked her out... oof
Anyways, overall, I enjoyed this book a lot. But it also didn't blow me away as much as the first book.
