It started off as a 4⭐️ read for me but by the time i finished the book, i needed to drop some points.
What i liked:
What i liked:
- Fated mates. I love the fated mates trope, it was refreshing to already know in the beginning that they were mates (it’s not a spoiler, it’s in the blurb).
- Unexpected plot twists
- Spice rate about 🌶️.5, i would say.
- The side characters were a great addition and i want a story for all of them!
What i did not like:
- In the beginning, the plot really picked up but i would say in about 70%, it really dragged on. I did not feel that is was necessary and could be shorter.
- I liked the love story between the FMC/MMC but missed more build up, because the grand declaration felt for me very soon.
- Worldbuilding was great but it lost me also around the 70% mark and got a little bit confused.
- Maybe minor but almost towards the end of every chapter the FMC ‘bit her cheek’ constantly. It started to bother me, there are other ways to express how a character feels.
Overall a great book and would recommend!
