I thought this was a fun read. The banters were razor-sharp. I’m enthralled by Fisher (MMC.) I love Saeris (FMC.) I thought Carrion was hilarious!
It’s marketed as a slow burn, but to me, I didn’t see it that way. It felt more like insta-lust. When they had their first kiss, I was like, “slow burn, my ass.” 😂 I wish it was slow burning, I’m a huge fan of that! But I was still interested in the rest of the story. It was also a pretty easy read if you’re taking a break from complicated world-buildings or serious politics. Like I said, it was fun.
