Fenced In Felix follows our main character Felix who lives in the outback. We get to see Felix building and running her own campground where she gives a real outback experience to travelers. Felix lives in a small town where everyone knows everyone. Then Felix meets Josie, a new bar worker, while she is out advertising for her campground and the two hit it off immediately. Felix and Josie bond over horses and when Josie brings her horse to stay with Felix the mystery begins.
When I started this book I had no idea where it was going. I thought it was just going to be about Felix, her campground, and her building relationship with Josie but it was so much more. I felt that the story really picked up when the questions and concerns started to arise about Josie's horse, Flame. I cannot say much more without saying spoilers but I really loved the search Flame sent them on!
Even though this is the third book in the Girl Meets Girl series it is the first one I have read. I did not feel that I missed out on any past information. I know that some of the characters from the past book made an appearance in this book but there was enough information given about them that I didn’t feel the need to have read the other books to know them well.
