The start was slow, but over time I was convinced that I liked this as much as the first, though I can’t really remember the first.
I would highly recommend the audiobook. The voices and personality the narrator gave each character breathed a lot of life into the very large cast.
The side characters felt very fleshed out, and this morally grey quality was prevalent among the plot. A very poignant look into grieving, death, capitalism, and mankind.
It also had really great tie ins from the first book. Especially the Woodsman.
The funny parts were funny and the scary parts were scary. Great listen!
