Autumn of the Grimoire by J.L. Vampa

5.0

Just finished this for second time to prepare for sequel and loved it even more this time!

Original review:

Books about/involving witches are really my jam. This was the PERFECT read for Fall! Four Solstice Sisters come together each equinox to pass their Grimoire on to the appropriate sister for the season and inside is penned that sister’s task for the season. Agatha, Sister Autumn, is always given difficult tasks, as her season does coincide with death and decay. This season, she’s given the task of marrying a prince. No further details. And that is where I’m going to stop.

I LOVED THIS BOOK SO MUCH!!!! I freaking loved it. It was so well written- the descriptions, the characters, their development, the arranged marriage, Agatha, Grimm… sigh. I loved it. And it felt somehow familiar, like I was sliding under a cozy blanket to enjoy the season unfold. That being said, it also had a different twist on folklore and I just thought it was done beautifully. That’s all I want to say because this is just one you need to experience for yourself.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️(5/5) and impatiently awaiting the sequel.
