The narrator grabbed me and refused to let go. I felt like I was descending into madness as she was (or was she?). Her observations lacked any self consciousness. It was brash and it was honest. There was no desire to be likeable and I appreciated it. She made herself known to the reader and I ate it up. This book will sit with me for awhile.
