Earthly Delights by Kerry Greenwood

The story of a baker who becomes involved in a series of murders, vandalism and missing people. Somehow she manages to solve them all.

The writing style in the beginning did not flow freely for me and I found it rather frustrating, but thankfully it improved as it went a long. Even though it's not a great book, it's pleasant enough, if not a bit far fetched in places. I disliked the rather dated political comments, which would really only have any kind of relevance to those aware of the original politicians mentioned. They never made it far into history and thus, ten years after publication, seem rather pointless to the story and is more of a comment by the author.
