This Is Not a Love Scene by S. C. Megale

Did not finish book. Stopped at 13%.
I only listened to this for about twenty minutes and several red flags stood out to me.
I'll start out saying that I have friedreich's ataxia,a form of muscular dystrophy.

The very first line was "I love being ridden." Leave the double entendre alone, don't ever "ride" someone's wheelchair!

The moment I knew I wouldn't read this book was maybe 5 minutes in when she said something along the lines of being cute despite her disability. That is a completely disgusting statement.

She then goes on to say that she has a form of  muscular dystrophy, but didn't specify. And I get maybe that only bothed me because I couldn't help but wonder if she had FA.

She also talks about looking online at others that share her disease so she can judge them! How gross!

From other reviews I read that this is own voices and that shocks me! It's unbelievable to me that someone with a disability would be so negative and disparaging about it like that!
