Christmas Cake Murder by Joanne Fluke

This was not my favorite of the series, it goes back to the beginning of the story before Hannah has opened the Cookie Jar and while no murder takes place it contains a mystery.
While helping an older resident of Lake Eden they find a story which is fictional, until they are not quite sure if there isn't some truth to it. A mystery to solve, while enjoying some sweet treats. Essie's story is interesting and took a lot of twists which was nice.
The recipes tend to never disappoint, I wish the story was a little stronger though as they were in the beginning of the series.
