The Sisters of Auschwitz: The True Story of Two Jewish Sisters' Resistance in the Heart of Nazi Territory by Roxane van Iperen

medium-paced

3.0

I found some of the story was stilted and was more like a list of historical facts than a story. This may have been the way I heard it, or something that was lost in the translation.

I did learn a lot about Janny and Lien Brilleslijpen by reading this book. I always find stories about the people who stood up to the Nazis very interesting. The sisters were very brave and I cannot imagine the amount of bravery they had to show during the war.
