The Infidel and the Professor: David Hume, Adam Smith, and the Friendship That Shaped Modern Thought by Dennis C. Rasmussen

4.0

I agree with some of the other reviews that mention that this book sometimes focuses more on a summary of each thinker's work rather than their friendship, but nevertheless, there is much to be learned from these two thinkers, who, despite the fact that they didn't always agree, demonstrated loyalty to one-another and mutual respect.
