Every one of these Mike Bowditch mysteries are just as good as the last. The very best part, for me, is to be out and about in the state of Maine, looking at wildlife and nature through the eyes of someone who loves it. Mike Bowditch is an incredibly likable, smart guy. I do not understand his taste in women, though, and I am looking forward to the ending's possibilities to come. As far as the plot goes, there are a lot of bad people in this one -- you just have to remember that there are loads more good people than bad!
